WOD Mamas is a customized program designed for pregnant women, post-partum women, and women who expect to become pregnant. We offer CrossFit workouts, scaled for all three trimesters and post-partum women.
Feel free to ask questions about scaling, equipment and exercise substitution, or something specific to your pregnancy personally. Whether you already do CrossFit workouts, or want to start, we can help you on your fitness journey.
IMPORTANT: CrossFit is a strength and intensity based fitness regimen. During pregnancy, it is important to concentrate on strength and maintaining a healthy body rather than intensity.
- Beginner: If you are starting CrossFit after becoming pregnant, or are recently post-partum
- Intermediate: If you were exercising regularly in some form before pregnancy, exercised throughout pregnancy and would like to start CrossFit post-partum.
- Advanced: If you were already doing CrossFit before were pregnant, continued throughout your pregnancy, and are now post-partum.
